OV8 has teamed up with (JunkhouseDog), British Harmonica Champion 2008 to form a blues band specializing in performing American/British blues from the 50's and 60's, which must be the golden era of blues music. Think, Butterfield/ Bloomfield, John Mayall, Clapton, Yardbirds, Muddy Waters, etc. The band is quickly winning fans with its virtuoso performances, combining an authenticity and passion which is quite rare on the contemporary blues scene in the UK. Close your eyes and let OV8, with JunkhouseDog, take you back to the Golden era of the Blues
NEWS! NEWS! OV8 were the talk of the Carlisle Blues Fest O9. They stormed through a smoking set of vintage blues and had the stars queuing up to get on stage with them. Here's who joined OV8 on stage. Earl Thomas, Connie Lush and her bands bass player, Ian Siegal, International Cricket star , Mark Butcher and Sean Webster. PHoooo! What a night!
